For the new parents in Queenstown?

We have a range of regular groups and parenting programmes for you!

• Try Thursday New Parent Drop-Ins for some tummy time, hot drinks and connection with other mums and our awesome PICS Staff.
• PEPStart is our very own early parenting programme for the parents of babies between six weeks and six months. Building confidence and connection with the same group for six sessions.
• And for those with any tamariki under five give Small Hands a go! This is our very own Circle of Security programme giving parents the tools for building safe and secure attachment. A world-renowned programme in your very own backyard.

For the parents throughout the region who want to know if their kid is “too worried”?

• Come along to one of our Turning Worriers into Warriors seminars across the region. We have dates for Queenstown, Wānaka, Cromwell, Alexandra and Roxburgh! Best suited for the whānau of 4-13 year olds, this seminar is practical and reassuring.

And for the professionals? The soccer coaches, music teachers, babysitters, early childhood carers, healthcare workers, community volunteers and leaders?

• Our revamped Foundations of Child Protection workshop is available in Queenstown, Wānaka, Cromwell and Alexandra. A 3-hour interactive workshop covering the essentials of Child Protection legislation, policy and community action. This is a must do for anyone working/volunteering with children and whānau in any capacity.
